Bouldering FAQs

Who can boulder? If you can climb up the first 5 or 6 rungs of a ladder you can more than likely boulder!

What should you wear? Clothing that will not restrict movement. Loose short shorts are not recommended as the wearer may divulge more information than bystanders may care to know about!

Is there any special equipment required? At a minimum, you’ll need a clean pair of running shoes which will have to be shown at counter for inspection. If you do not already own a pair, we highly recommend use of climbing shoes which can be hired at the counter for a minimal fee (bring thin clean socks to wear with hire shoes). Shoes are included in the price of a Starter Pack.

What should you do before your first visit? Fill out our waiver form (can be done at The Boulder Hub or on this website- See Waiver), and bring an ID card to confirm age. It is also recommended that you read through our rules of conduct and bouldering etiquette information prior to your visit.

All climbers under 18Y of age will be required to have parent/guardian signature on their first visit.
